{ALMOST} Tell Me About It Thursday

After tonight's bedtime torture:

Halloween Prep With My Boys

I started planning our Halloween costumes more than a month ago. Yes, in August. My boys share my love for costumes and parties. We usually over do the decorations too. I had decided to be practical and not add any spider webs or pumpkins to the front of the house until October. I almost made it!

I was happy to add to my decorations this year with a super cute wreath for the front door. Want to make your own?

I love to not act my age. I hang out with a couple girls that I have absorbed  in to my family. They are in their early twenties. They keep me young. We like some of the same music and we always sing along in the car. We have all seen those YouTube videos of people lip syncing and laughing their heads off. We decided to make one of our own.

Normally I would be worry about leaks from laughing so hard. Let's be honest - a plus size mom and a hard twin pregnancy. It happens. Plus who hasn't laughed until you've peed?

Depression, Delusions, Don't Worry

There has been a lot on my mind lately. I have found pictures online that spoke to me but I wanted to make them mine. I took all three of these photos and added the wording. Now they are mine and I can feel confident sharing them since they come from my heart.

Talk about it Tuesday! #Back2SchoolReady

We finally got our new book in the mail from Kellogg's and Walmart. We typed in the code from our cereal boxes, NutriGrain bars and Rice Krispies Treats. The boys love when they check the mail and find something for themselves. (Actually, I think we all love to find something besides a bill in the mailbox.)

Just in case you missed it; This is the blog post where you can find all the details. I explained how you can take advantage of this great deal for yourself or a school of your choosing. Just enter in the codes from a specially marked package.

Check out the cute video I got of them opening their mail.

I can't win for trying

I am a loser. Let me explain.

I had to beg, borrow and sell to have enough cash to cover everythi g this weekend. I had to pay bills and put gas in the car. I wanted to take the boys to the county fair. We are out of food stamps so i needed to buy dinner too.

I called Suddenlink to double check the amount due with my promise to pay. I only had cash so I  deposited the money to cover the payment.  I called back to finalize the payment and it was accepted. I am also out an additional $5.95 for a prepaid card because the money wouldn't clear in my account until Tuesday.

I am online just after midnight, the screen freezes and then it drops signal. When it refreshes the screen,  I am told I can only access the payment page for Suddenlink.

Not only is there an additional $7 charge to reconnect service, they now want the account to be brought current.

I am so fed up. I can't catch up. I try to make a little money here and there. Sponsored ads have been slow. Pretties should pick up soon, but don't count until they make a deposit.

I am used to such amazing service from Suddenlink so I am concerned as to what happened.
